In line with our new direction of development to engage the community, Tung Lin Kok Yuen (TLKY) has kindly lent its support to the programmes of Buddhist counselling and related activities by offering HKUCBS the use of their premises at Wang Fat Ching She (WFCS) in Tsuen Wan as a teaching and research venue. Under this collaboration, the new centre is thus named TLKY-HKUCBS Buddhist Counselling Centre.

After completion of a major renovation of WFCS in 2020, the venue was ready for full operation in April 2021. It takes up part of the ground floor as the reception area, and one side of the first floor for counselling rooms. The Centre is a key location for teaching, supervised practicum, delivery of counselling services, and research activities.

The opening of the TLKY-HKUCBS Buddhist Counselling Centre together with the launching of the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice of Buddhist Counselling Programme (a philantrophic endeavour of Mrs. Lee Fung Kung Wah) should ameliorate the scarcity of professional Buddhist counselling and spiritual care services in the HKSAR. Currently, Buddhist counselling services are being offered by our counselling trainees (from the Postgraduate Diploma Programme) under the supervision of qualified professional practitioners.
