Other interests include, the application of new techniques in real-world situations, for example, applying wearable electroencephalogram (EEG) and brain stimulation in meditation-related research.

At the intersection of Buddhism, psychology and neuroscience, I mainly focus on experiment design, data collection, and data analysis. Our lab makes use of EEG, ECG, and psychological questionnaires to test the application and applicability of Buddhist ideas and practices. Current topics include: religious chanting, meditation, and self schema.
